Knowledge of a person

Consciousness of a human. Why consciousness is not the brain?

To each human constantly comes to mind a variety of thoughts, but where do they come from? Why can not thoughts be stopped, and do they belong to human in general? Is the mind (consciousness) a person? Or is man more than the mind? To answer these questions, I invite you to travel to the world of the human being and his secrets.

What is consciousness?

“Any person will say:” I control my mind. It’s my mind. I do what I want”. We talked about this a lot. Sit down with a pen and a piece of paper and write down everything that it shows you and tells you. And then read and see: did you want this? Have you ordered these thoughts? Did you order these desires? And why it all happens. “

A person is not his thoughts or his consciousness. By nature, we have two beginnings: Animal (material body and consciousness) and Spiritual (Soul and Personality). In fact, a human is a Personality; Personality is who you really are. From the Soul to the Personality there is always comes a life force, and Personality chooses where to redirect it, i.e. which of the two beginnings to give her attention to. And whatever the Personality chooses, it strengthens that by its attention.

Consciousness is the mediator between the Personality and this material world. Thanks to consciousness, we communicate, see, hear, grieve or enjoy this world. Thoughts in the form of pictures in the head and voiced words, emotions, desires, habits, sensations of the physical body are all elements of the work of human consciousness.

To understand that a human is not a consciousness, one can give an associative example to a theater. Personality is a spectator, and “artists on stage” is consciousness. And there “artists” show to you as the Personality, different scenes: they tell you what you need in life, so that you would be happy; argue with each other, prove their point of view; show you different fantasies, exposing you as a winner in disputes, a superhero, someone else. They show you something that in reality did not happen, twisting everything beyond recognition, which is essentially magic. Those. “Artists on stage” offer and impose to you, as a spectator, to live their lives. And the brighter the picture, the more attention is put by the Personality in this illusory “theater in the head”. And this is funding for “artists”. Those “Artists” do everything possible  to evoke in you an emotion, to attract your attention. And you can’t escape from these “artists”.

But this does not mean that a human does not need to develop his consciousness.

“Do not develop consciousness – it means to equalize with the consciousness of the monkey, ie. have an underdeveloped consciousness. “

The essence of consciousness is to be an instrument for communication in this three-dimensional world. Without consciousness, a person will not be able to communicate, think, even banal to know that his body needs to eat. Therefore, it is impossible to live without consciousness in the material world, but it, like any other instrument, must perform its functions and be well developed. The wider your horizons, the more you understand, the more you are able to grasp in this three-dimensional world, and then you can easily come to the fact that the material world was derived from the spiritual world.

“If you develop as a Personality, then a well-trained consciousness is only to help, it does not harm … A well-developed consciousness facilitates understanding of this world, improves communication with other people.”

Unfortunately, in modern society, consciousness of most people has turned from a convenient tool into a dictator. And now it is not the Personality that controls consciousness, but consciousness controls the Personality and imposes its priorities on it.

It’s just that the Personality needs to rationally invest its attention into all that the Personality itself needs, and not what the consciousness forces on it, such as “Artists” in the head.

Research of scientists and their statements about consciousness

Official psychology believes that consciousness is connected with the human brain, and this is the person himself. This erroneous assumption misleads society and entails serious consequences for future generations.

Consciousness is not the human brain, and the most important is that consciousness is not the man himself. This fact has already been confirmed by many neurophysiologists and other people who study this issue, and at least observe themselves.

Tatyana Zinchenko (a practicing psychotherapist, rehabilitologist, member of the professional league of the European Psychotherapy Association): “We can observe the activity of consciousness as the wind. Such as the wind itself we can not see, but we can observe the traces of the wind (traces on the sand, rustle of leaves, waves). The same is with the human consciousness, i.e. we can observe the work of consciousness as thoughts, emotions, as desires. And, of course, in the brain of such a structure as consciousness, scientists have not found.

Consciousness is not a product of the brain. And the evidence of coma, narcosis, the possibility of perceiving without five senses, even when the heart does not function, i.e. blood circulation in the brain is stopped, but the person keeps consciousness.”

A research team led by Sam Parnia conducted an experiment for 4.5 years involving 2060 patients in 15 hospitals. Scientists have gathered evidence that the human mind still works, even if the rest of the body (including the brain, as an organ) can already be considered dead.

Charles Scott Sherrington (British scientist in the field of physiology and neurobiology) wrote in his book “The Man and His Nature” (1946) that “the brain cooperates with the psyche”, considering the brain and psyche (by “psyche ” he actually meant consciousness) as independent and separated from each other, connected only by the principle of interaction.

Wilder Graves Penfield (a Canadian neurosurgeon of American origin), after many years of studying the brain, came to the conclusion that “the energy of the mind is different from the energy of the brain’s neural impulses.” (Penfield, W. The mystery of the mind, Princeton, 1975. P. 25-27).

From Anastasia Novykh’s book “AllatRa”: “The brain is the mediator between consciousness and the world. It perceives and tries to decode the codes, that is, different signals, including those coming from the five senses. But it is especially important to note that the brain is able to perceive many other signals coming not only from the visible, but also from the invisible world. “

With his colleague, the founder of modern neurosurgery Wilder Penfield, who performed more than 10,000 operations on the brain, Eccles wrote the book “The human mystery”. In it, the authors explicitly state that “there is no doubt that a person is controlled by something that is outside of his body.”

Natalia Petrovna Bekhtereva (neurophysiologist, scientific director of the Institute of Human Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences): “To penetrate into the true nature of consciousness means to depart from the notion that it is associated exclusively with the atomic-molecular structures of the brain.” “All my life I devoted to the study of the most perfect organ – the human brain. And I came to the conclusion that the emergence of such a miracle is impossible without the Creator.”

Natalia Bekhtereva said that the brain is a kind of “creature in the being,” which seems to live and act within us in its own laws unknown to us.

Svyatoslav Vsevolodovich Medvedev (Soviet and Russian physiologist, Director of the Institute of the Human Brain of the Russian Academy of Sciences): “The brain is the interface, the mediator, the link between the material and the ideal. The organ that connects the world of the human psyche, ideas, with the world of reality. “

From here we can draw the following conclusions:

1. Consciousness is an energy-informational field structure that is located outside the brain (scientists – Bekhtereva NP, Sherrington C.S., Penfield UG, Eccles DK).

2. A person in the ordinary mode of perception can only observe the products of the activity of consciousness in the form of emotions, thoughts, active states (eg aggressiveness, alpha significance, resentment, disappointment, loneliness, etc.), but not the field of consciousness itself.

3. Consciousness is not a product of the work of the brain. And this is evidence of manifestations of consciousness, when a person is in a state of coma and under anesthesia, and also the possibility of perception without five senses, etc.

4. The brain is the receiver and transmitter of information that it receives from consciousness, and also from the outside world with the help of five senses and not only.

PERSONALITY IS SPIRIT

We have learned that consciousness is not a human, but only an instrument that is given to us to perceive this three-dimensional world in which we live. Also, thoughts are the product of the work of consciousness. In other words: any thoughts that each individual hears in his head – are not of his own, this is what consciousness offers him. But the person himself chooses which thoughts to pay attention to. And his destiny depends on that. On this occasion, there is a very good and small parable, very profound in meaning:

Once upon a time, an old Indian reveal to his grandson one vital truth.

– In every man there is a struggle, very similar to the struggle of two wolves. One wolf represents evil – envy, jealousy, regret, selfishness, ambition, lies …

Another wolf represents goodness – peace, love, hope, truth, kindness, fidelity …

A little Indian, touched to the depths of his soul with the words of his grandfather, thought for a few moments, and then asked:

– And what kind of wolf wins in the end?

The old Indian smiled slightly and replied:

– Always wins the wolf that you feed.

Personality is Spirit. And Spirit, it is not material. The question arises, how then to develop spiritually? Most importantly, it is to develop in oneself the divine, that which is beyond the limits of the human mind. And this is sensory perception, the language of deep feelings, which the soul of each person understands. This is the cultivation of inner Love for God and for all people.

In order to develop a sense perception, various spiritual instruments are known: autogenic training, meditation, spiritual practices. All of them are available in the original form, thanks to the books of A.Novykh.

Because you understand that the practical path to God is the path of your inner feelings and actions. This is a very important point – by actions. That is, you do not sit, do not expect that someone will come, give something to you, but you act, you just express your feelings, you love, you stay in this feeling every day. You express your intention with feelings, you express it in the moment “here and now”. And this is your personal life – this is the life of the Personality. This is very different from the personal life that your consciousness knows, it also made you suffer from thoughts, made you think about the external … Because in these moments of deep joy you realize that your Spirit is not enslaved, that your Spirit is above intellect. You understand that Spirit is free, and you understand that its power is in Love. You understand that the deep self-expression of your endless Love – this is the practical way to God, and this is practically the most important thing.
